Some people are simply born to shine.
TCU Senior Stevie Bisch is one of those people.
You know it from the moment you meet her: she dazzles you with a personality that is equal parts iconically charming, whimsically adventurous and unapologetically bold. Then you dive into a conversation with her and realize what a phenomenal leader she is. How big a heart she has. How much she cares about elevating the people around her.
Stevie is born to shine.
Born to stand out.
Born to make a difference.
And that’s exactly what she’s done in her time at TCU, leaving in an indelible mark on the school and her sorority, Sigma Kappa, where she served as her chapter’s president. Stevie is a fierce believer in the people she surrounds herself with, never passing up a moment to welcome someone in, build them up, and send them off better than they were before they met her.
Stevie, I know that last part is true in part because I’M better for having spent this past year with you! You are a fun magnet. A joy bringer. A turbo charger. When you came to me with your “I have a vision” dreams of a purple tulle dress running across the TCU Football Stadium, Blazers with Crop Tops, and a Gold-sparked Inner Tube in Frog Fountain, I knew your senior session would be one for the ages… truly iconic at every turn! (Who else could run into TCU Chancellor Victor Boschini not once but TWICE in one morning? AND get interviewed by him?) But the fun and joy and charisma you bring only tell part of the story. Because you are also thoughtful. Insightful. Wise. Creative. Brilliant. You elevated our whole team this year with your passion and drive, and kept us on our toes with your “what will she do next?” statement ‘fits!
I’m so excited to see how you make the world a better place as you step in to the post-grad season of life, because it’s not a question of IF you’ll make a difference.
It’s just a matter of when. Where. How.
You are a difference maker, Stevie Bisch. And it’s an honor to know you!
